Galatians 6:1-18 “Coming Back to the Cross”

As we continue our short series in Paul’s letter to the Galatians we see that Paul uses this letter to refocus the church. It’s that time again. We expect a harvest. And when there trouble in the church we lose focus and we drift from our mission. It’s time to get passionate about the cross. Mission often comes at a cost. Let us revisit our calling.

All Saints Sunday

Luke 20:27-38 All Saints Sunday – Today we tackle the question. What really happens when we die? Historically, the Church has confessed a belief in the “communion of the saints,” which includes not only all living believers, but also all who have gone before us. When we celebrate Holy Communion, we experience the communion of saints, feasting with believers past, present and future.

Psalm 65 – Reformation Sunday

Today we continue that movement towards our All Saints Celebration as we celebrate Reformation Sunday. Reformation Sunday is set aside to recognize, remember, and celebrate the Protestant Reformation.

The Sermon is in the Congregation

Laity Sunday focuses on the celebration of the ministry of all lay Christians. On Laity Sunday, we celebrate that we are all called, laity as well as clergy, to go and make disciples in a world so desperately in need of hope through our humble service.

Children’s Sunday

Children’s Sunday is a day set aside to celebrate children as active participants in the life of the church. Children provide leadership for the future of our church.
