Stephen Ministry at FUMC
Stephen Ministry is an international Christian ecumenical program equipping lay people to help provide Christian care to members of their congregations and communities. Those experiencing divorce, grief, terminal illness, loss of a job, relocation, an empty nest, retirement, hospitalization, loneliness, and many other challenges find Stephen Ministers to be a supportive extension of Christ’s love. They are friends who listen, understand, accept and pray without judgement for or with a person who is working through a difficult time in his or her life.
