You’re new to our church – Great! We’re glad to have you exploring a relationship with God in Christ at Frankenmuth United Methodist Church. You may be “window shopping”, comparing the differences and similarities among the various churches in the area, looking seriously for a church home – or all of the above. Whatever it is that brings you to our website, We’re happy you’ve landed here! Our church is a medium size church with much to offer in the way of discipleship ministries: worship, Christian education and spiritual formation programs of many types for all ages, fellowship, and multiple ways to serve and reach out to those in our community and around the world who need to experience the love of God in Christ through people whose lives have been touched by God.
At the same time, we have a caring, family-type environment where all are welcome – all, and that means you! Explore the rest of the website, following the links that may be of interest to you to learn more about who we are, what our passions are, and where you might find a place with us in ministry – whether you’re a longtime “church type” or seeking a relationship with God in Christ for the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the morning services
8:30 and 10:45 during Fall, Winter and Spring
The music is the main difference between the services. At our 8:30 service music is usually accompanied by our organ and we sing from the hymnal. At 10:45 we sing with a team of musicians, using the piano, drum and guitar. We also have children time at 10:45. We serve communion on the first Sunday of the month at both services. We have an open table, where everyone is invited to take communion from our Lord’s table. The Nursery is available at all services.
Be sure to check the church’s calendar for actual times of service.
9:30 during the Summer
In the summer, on Memorial Day, we go to a 9:30 service. In the summer we vary the service style.
What do you offer for children and youth?
Children and youth Sunday school classes are available from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Children are dismissed out of the 10:45 worship service after the children’s message, and children meet in the in another section of our church.. Nursery care is available for ages 0-5 at all services.
What do I wear?
We hope you come to church in whatever makes you feel comfortable. We care more about you and your relationship with Jesus than what you look like. Our only request is that you do wear clothes.
Where do I go when I get there?
Parking is available in the main parking lots of the church. Go in the doors under the car canopy and a greeter should be there to welcome you.
What happens next?
As you enter one of the services an usher will hand you a weekly bulletin. Please let an usher know if you have special seating needs such as a wheelchair or hearing aid. There will also be a friendship folder in each pew. Please complete the attendance form inside so we know you stopped by! We hope you enjoy our church community and look forward to seeing you soon!?
